Montebello 6th Street Family Apartments


Situated in City of Montebello at the intersection of W. Whittier Boulevard and S. 6th Street, the new development thoughtfully balances higher density housing with the surrounding community context.  The project is a four-story new construction development that includes 1 level of subterranean parking, and 63 affordable housing units.  The building is designed to create a private interior courtyard for residential tenants.  The project includes 27 one-bedroom, 16 two-bedroom, and 20 three-bedroom units to serve a wide variety of household types.   The project includes many amenities for tenants to foster community engagement, support tenants’ health and meet tenants’ needs.  There will be a large community room with community kitchen that opens into a landscaped outdoor courtyard with outdoor seating, community garden, and a children’s play area.  There is another courtyard and two roof terraces on the second floor and the fourth floor, with provides more outdoor seating, a community BBQ space, and kids exercise spaces.  The building will have an on-site laundry facility located on the fourth floor right next to the community roof terrace, an office for the property manager, bicycle parking, private and secured entrances, security camera system, and an elevator.
